Green Tin Snail

I am currently in Falkirk, having completed the first part of our journey in the Green Tin Snail. These photos were taken in Banffshire, as we departed. We drove to Montrose on the first day, followed by Dundee yesterday, and stayed in Falkirk last night. I did two shoots yesterday, and about to complete another this morning. 2CVs are fun!

Woodland Creature

Recently I shot with Jakub in some woodland local to me. It was a lovely morning, and we were completely undisturbed for the duration. I always enjoy being out and about within nature, especially on balmy summer mornings.

The early part of the year has been very busy with singing work (hence, less modelling work), travelling throughout Europe. But I have August off completely, and only one show in September, which gives me the whole summer to spend with my son, and enjoy some more photo shoots, too. I'm enjoying modelling as a creative outlet, while I have some free time to do so. More to follow soon, hopefully!

Self Portraits in Den Haag

I am a little behind with blogging, photo-editing, and all other things that require sitting down for more than ten minutes at a time. These self-portraits were taken in my hotel room in Den Haag (The Hague), while I was performing in a (sell-out) show at The World Forum Theater for four days in April. (Yeah, I just had to get that brag-worthy statement in there!)

I am shortly planning a crazy tour of Scotland (in a Citroen 2CV!) which I'm hoping will also produce some interesting photo shoots, and I have some recent images to upload, too. If you happen to be in Scotland and are interested in shooting mid - late August, please get in touch!

Meanwhile, thought I'd add these to my blog.

I've added the first image in colour too, because I was a little undecided.

Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird - Wallace Stevens

Among twenty snowy mountains,
The only moving thing
Was the eye of the blackbird.

I was of three minds,
Like a tree
In which there are three blackbirds.

The blackbird whirled in the autumn winds.
It was a small part of the pantomime.

A man and a woman

I know noble accents

It marked the edge
Of one of many circles.

Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Mailbox - ERosanne

Blue, like the skies beyond,

merging into a
new mailbox.

Vacant space,
a mailbox stands alone
on barren land.

Darkest night,
a moonbeam reflects
from the mailbox.

A boat,
faring turbulent seas
to distant mailboxes.

A broken heart,
delivered to
an empty mailbox.

Flowers grow,
life springs from
an open mailbox.

But flowers die
and crumble from
a closed mailbox.

The road
is clearly visible
from a prison mailbox.

A river of dreams,
cascading from
a leaking mailbox.

Cobwebs creep,
demon swarming
over a peeling mailbox.

Sun sets behind
the silhouette
of a leaning mailbox.

Lightning strikes,
rain drips from
a broken mailbox.

A creature stirs,
a child is kicking
an old, old mailbox.

If you had lived...

They say that some things are just not meant to be,
But nevertheless, you were special to me.
'You' were my hopes, and my future plans,
I imagined my world in your tiny hands.

In my thoughts, I had held you,
Pictured who you might be,
And I felt that I knew you,
Though you never knew me.

For weeks, you provided my secret smile,
And I'm proud that I carried you 'round, for a while.
I'd like to believe you are safe, up above,
But if you had lived - you would have been loved.
